Retail and Operations Executive


· Motivate the store team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff

· Create business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability

· Generate ideas about future retail activities to ensure sales target achievement; maintains up to date knowledge of the marketplace, competitors and retail business trends

· Do a regular analysis of day-to-day flow of stores

· Do the forecasting of items for product planning for various seasons

· Prepare accurate sales reports to Management

· Plan and manage the stores’ budgets

· Audit inventory levels of POS items and merchandising materials

· Take a lead role in building a strong sales management culture

· Set sales targets and customer service index for all stores

· Has full P&L accountability for all stores

· Empowered to make decisions on all aspects of retail trade sales and operations within the guidelines set by the company

· Involved in the strategy development of the retail trade by participating in the decision-making process for new initiatives, projects, policies and procedures

· Hire, train, and oversee new staff requirements

· Other tasks as assigned


· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic qualification in Marketing / Business Administration and Management. Master’s degree is an advantage.

· 5-10 years of experience in retail industry

· Proficient knowledge in retail trade, sales and distribution, business development

· Well-connected with property developers, mall developers, local business partners to help build stores and space acquisition

· Proficient with CRM, Microsoft Office tools, Inventory Management tools

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating ideas

· Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, creative and innovative

· Amenable to work beyond working hours

· Amenable to travel locally and internationally when the need arises
