MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conducts the following tests according to assigned task: urinalysis, fecalysis, chemistry, blood extraction, hematology and other tests

Establishing and performing monitoring programs that ensure data accuracy which includes running of daily quality control and needed PMS and calibration of laboratory equipment and machines.

Analyzing lab reports for accuracy.

Accurately records, encodes, and endorses results

Coordinates with patients for other concerns with laboratory results

Prints and sorts results

Coordinates with the Team Leader for concerns with the specimens and other endorsement

Maintains laboratory supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies

Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control and hazardous waste policies and protocols; following identification procedures.

Perform mobile APE blood extraction or onsite processing of stool samples, if needed.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology 

Preferably an active PRC license holder, but non license holders are also welcome to apply

With or without experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good Team player and has strong coordinating skills
