Roles and Responsibilities

– Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
– Provide clerical support to the HR department
– May assist with payroll functions including paycheck calculations, answering employee questions, and fixing processing errors as authorized
– Prepare and send Onboarding and Termination packets
– Maintain calendars of the HR management team, especially to set-up candidate interviews
– Assist with the recruitment process by creating job posts on various recruitment platforms; screening and shortlisting applicants and conducting background screening
– Facilitate the enrollment of eligible employees to their medical and ancillary benefits
– Create and document workflows of HR Department processes
– Conduct research for policymaking, implementation, and maintenance
– Assist in initiatives to continually improve the employee life cycle
– Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

– Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree (preferably related to HR such as Management, Psychology, etc.)
– With at least 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Human Resources and/or Administrative or Executive Assistant
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
– Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications
– Exposure to payroll practices
– Understanding of HR functions and best practices
– Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
– Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
– Ability to accurately follow instructions
