QUALIFICATIONS:

-Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineer or any related course.

– ETL Dev with Azure experience like Databricks, Data Lake and Data Factory

-At least 1-5 years of working experience in the same field.

-Should be a quick learner and has the ability to work independently.

-Good verbal and written communication skills.

-Can start ASAP.

Full Job Description

The ETL and Business Developer is responsible for developing all BI artifacts related to the operations and management of the assigned business units; Performs Developer Testing on the procedures s/he created; creates BI interfaces such as Dashboards and Reports using BI development tools (e.g. MS PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (MS SSRS), Crystal Reports, etc.); and, Optimizes and applies industry best practices to ETL processes to make sure procedures are run efficiently

Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations:

Meets with business users to get the requirements and scope of a particular task/project.
Creates the BRD based on agreed requirements and scope.
Writes the Functional STM based on the BRD.
Translates the Functional STM to the Technical STM, including some snippets of code that would help the completion of the ETL process development.
Works with the Data Engineer to understand the data structure requirements and build the necessary database objects to be utilized by the dashboards/reports.
Designs and develops the data integration layer applying the industry best practices in ETL processing
Performs Developer Testing on the ETL procedures and documents the results in the Developer Unit Test Document
Coordinates with the business to do UA tests and let the user sign off on the test results.
Acts as the Business Analyst to understand all requirements, including:
a. Data Extract-Transform-Load (ETL)

b. Dashboard Requirements

c. Reporting Requirements

Maintains the different project documents, namely:
a. Business Requirements Document (BRD)

b. Functional Source-to-Target Mapping Document (Functional STM)

c. Technical Source-to-Target Mapping Document (Technical STM)

d. Developer / Unit Test Document

e. UAT Document
