Accounting Manager – WFH

Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of accounting (accounts payable, billing, general ledger entries,
bank reconciliation, credit card expense report reconciliation, cash applications, collections, and
payroll)
Ad hoc monthly analysis reports on various financial aspects and managing batch payments
Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Must know the difference between Cash and Accrual Accounting
Evaluating financial processes to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Assessing profit and liability performance to help manage budgets.
Planning budgets, enforcing policies, streamlining processing of transactions, and other relevant
tasks.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
Establishes financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing,
verifying, and reporting financial information, and managing accounting staff.
Analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted
accounting practices.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA strongly preferred
Minimum of 10 years progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a
supervisory role
Experience with financial reporting requirements
Must be familiar with QuickBooks (QBO) or similar accounting software including Microsoft
Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) and Google Drive and Google Sheets.
Knowledgeable in AP, US Tax filings, financial audits/reports, bank reconciliation, bookkeeping,
time keeping, payroll processing, etc.
Concrete knowledge of Accounting principles/processes, regulations and bookkeeping.
Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data and attentive to details and
accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization
